ALL ABOUT ME (Kimberley)
Hi my name is Kimberley and I had meningococcal disease
and I have lost 4 fingers and 8 toes .I just had another
operation on my leg and my graft has healed well and has
begun to shrink , I think its operation number 29 since I
was 6 now I'm 10.
I like horses and animals in general and all sorts of creepy
crawling bugs. I love horse riding and to watch the
Simpson's but my Mum says “No”.
I love to paint and draw and my friend is an artist and
his name is Stephen Preston he draws and paints wacky pictures
and is a really funny. Stephen is going to do a special
painting for the Stump Club, and then we can make postcards
out of them and sell them – so we can take kids out and does
something cool!!!
There is something I don't like about going to hospital, “the
beds are really annoying and hard”. Sometimes kids
say things that are mean, “Like you is a lopsided no fingered
freak”, but it's ok because his sister gave him a black eye
for it – and his mum was really cross.
I want lots of kids to write and let me know what its like
for you.

HELLO,
My name is Chloe and I am Kimberley sister I am 5 I look
a lot like my mummy and I love making cakes. I'm going
to stay in a big hotel in Sydney soon. I don't like
it when Kimberley goes to hospital all the time because I
love her and I miss mummy every time she takes Kimberley
to hospital. I get scared, I always hope she doesn't
die and sometimes when she comes home she can't walk and
play with me and I have to be careful not to bump into her.
