Daniel Ahearn - Australia
The pre-school at which I work purchased the "Fighting Meningococcal Disease" to add to our Parent Library. I brought it home to watch and must commend you and those involved in producing such an excellent and informative educational tool.

Aged 10 If it was not for the quick acting medical staff and the wonderful professional staff at Geelong Hospital, including our paediatrician, this disease might have taken our gorgeous son Alex.

Cassandra (Cassy) Brown - Australia
I thank God for the Stephen Sanig Foundation starting up. My daughter survived Meningococcal C, Dec 5th 1998 at 15 mnths old. Cassy is only alive because of a friends Mum (who is a nurse), told me of the Disease and what to do. Cassy was lucky to survive with the problems she has. But when it happened, there was no-one to talk to about it.

Melissa Caracoglia - Australia
I'd be honoured to tell my story for your website. I would really love to be able to help others who have been through this already and to inform others of how serious this disease is. A lot of people I have spoken to and told my story to didnt understand how bad it really is and I would like to help change that somehow. I feel I survived for a reason, maybe teaching others is it??..Thanks... Here

Christopher Goode - Australia
This is my miracle son, who survived a serious case of Meningococcus type c 22 years ago. Two doctors failed to diagnose his condition because most doctors, in the early 80s had no idea of the symptoms to look for. A third doctor, and a young intern at that, quickly made the correct diagnosis and saved Chritophers life.

Nicole Haj - Australia
It almost feels like it never happened. However I have the scars to remind me of exactly what I went through. It has also taken me a long time to feel comfortable in speaking about my experience.

She was the happiest and most selfless person I have ever known. I know the world is a better place for her having been here but I should have witnessed her fulfill her dreams.
